One of the key directions of our work is network validation.

Validators play an important role in network security and decentralization, as well as in the decision-making process that determines the direction of the projects themselves. With this article, we want to start immersing you deeper into the finer points of the blockchain and tell about the work of different industries from our experience and vision.

How to become a validator and not fall for scam projects? We will discuss all of this in order.

Becoming a validator

Becoming a validator in the blockchain is not an easy task. Cause each blockchain have their own mechanisms of operation.

Nevertheless, the key steps are the same:

  • choosing a blockchain network
  • selecting suitable equipment and software
  • launching nodes according to network requirements.

Becoming a crypto-validator involves setting up a validator node and staking tokens to verify transactions. Protocols and crypto-assets have specific requirements that need to be met.

Validators must have a significant amount of the network’s cryptocurrency for staking, reliable equipment, a stable internet connection, an understanding of the network’s consensus mechanism, security measures, active participation in network management, and the ability to service the node. Validators receive rewards, but if their work is ineffective, there can be penalties.

Rewards vary depending on the protocol and are distributed at different times. To calculate potential rewards, calculators on specialized websites can be used, for example, Stakingrewards.

Choose a reliable project

The main thing in validatorship is the ability to choose the right project. Of course, you can be attracted to all activities and distributions, test networks. But it’s still disappointing when a lot of work has been done to participate in the project, and in the end the token value turned out to be completely different. Or worse way then the project turned out to be a scam.

Feel of right choose also is coming with experience and skills at work (we also don’t exclude certain feelings for choice).

Researching and preparation is always about a good start with validation. Just try to find existing feedback in the community or reviews before you join at any project or participate in activities. Also, many projects make posts with their Roadmap in advance which often tells in detail about further development.

The main thing is to approach the choice responsibly. And then the scam will bypass you!

Our experience

One of the key challenges is a reliable validation in different blockchain networks. Our team has been working in the blockchain world since 2018. At the same time, we started work as a validator of networks. The main goal of our validator is responsibility for work processes and an efficiently supporting networks. A reliable team and a coherent process are key aspects of STAKEME.
You can explore in which projects we are validators through our portfolio.

Our experience with collaboration in blockchain touches on projects such as: Linea, Scroll, Sei, HAQQ, Dymension, Zetachain (more on this in the next chapter) and etc.
Over the years we have been developing our validator to efficiently support projects. Such as interesting activities is ETHCC6. We cooperated with Linea and wemade an NFT activity.

The other major opportunity we got from Sei: it was a hard and seminal work with Sei-explorer launch.
As a reason why we got a big chance to be a Sei validator.

We strive to select projects that are interesting to our team from a development point of view, as well as what we can offer to the projects ourselves.
As an example, our EXPLOREME — an explorer with a multitude of features for projects and communities. You can try and test a new version of it through the link => https://exploreme.pro/

Also multichain faucet for convenient distribution of test tokens for networks. (We also described the capabilities of the faucet in the article)
STAKEME aspire to find an interesting offers from projects for the developments in web 3.0 sphere.

Nowadays, we have a cooperation with Zetachain.
ZetaChain is a rapid, secure Omnichain Blockchain, serving as the base layer for the decentralized web. It enables developers to create interoperable dApps across various blockchains. ZetaChain aims to scale the crypto sphere to over a billion users by providing universal access across any blockchain. Its Omnichain Smart Contracts allow developers to deploy code once, making applications future-ready. ZetaChain is presently in collaboration with high-profile Web3 services and has recorded over 14 million cross-chain transactions during its testnet phase. You can read more about the project and monitoring the network with out Explorer

There have been many interesting collaborations with web3 networks and we are also trying to participate in them, increasing the interest of the community and our ideas.

Also we try to think about tools, not only developers projects. STAKEME — validator is about responsible blockchain surveillance.
